Details:
Continuing the lecture series on Nahm's equations, we discuss, following Bielawski, the existence of a hyperkähler metric on $K_\C \times S$, where $K$ is a complex reductive Lie group and $S$ is the Slodowy slice associated with an $\su(2)$-triple in the Lie algebra of $K$. It turns out that $K_\C \times S$ can be realised as a moduli space of solutions to Nahm's equations on the half-open interval $(0,1]$ with certain poles at zero. The resulting hyperkähler metric admits an action of $\SO(3)$ rotating the sphere of complex structures. Moreover, the moduli space can be used to introduce the construction of so-called hyperkähler slices.
