We explain the construction of a Nahm moduli space with a tri-hamiltonian torus action such that hyperkähler quotients by the torus give complex adjoint orbits. This requires the introduction of a new metric, since the usual $L^2$-metric in this setting will not be finite. We indicate how this space may be used to introduce a hyperkähler analogue of symplectic implosion.
