Beschreibung:
I will present two new, “exotic”, 2-parameter families of embedded triply periodic minimal surfaces of genus three (TPMSg3). They can be seen as orthorhombic deformation families of classical Schwarz’ surfaces. They are “strange” in the sense that they not part of Meeks’ 5-parameter family of TPMSg3, but “intersect" Meeks’ family on their boundaries, revealing singularities in the moduli space of TPMSg3. This is a joint work with Matthias Weber.
