In the 1950s, Erdős posed the so-called Multiplication Table Problem, asking how many distinct integers appear in the multiplication table of order N. Starting from this historical question, we explore related problems concerning the asymptotic density of product sets. We will see how the distribution of the number of prime divisors of integers is central to these multiplicative questions.
