The First Göttingen Cognition Forum – Curiosity & Interaction – explores how social and physical interactions shape cognition across species, bridging neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral biology. The event encourages interdisciplinary exchange on neurocognitive mechanisms, psychological processes, and evolutionary perspectives. Participation is free of charge. Registration deadlines: August 1 (abstracts for talks, posters, or market place), September 15 (attendance only). Confirmed plenary speakers include Jacqueline Gottlieb, Bahador Bahrami, Judith Burkart, Steve Chang, Nachum Ulanovsky, and Agostina Palmigiano. The main symposium (2 days) will be followed by a one-day Computational Neuroscience satellite. Contributions from empirical, theoretical, clinical, and AI research are welcome.
