Expert talk by Prof. Dr. Jana Lasser: "Hierarchy and abuse of power: challenges in the scientific work environment"

The GGNB and the CRC 1565 cordially invite to an expert talk by Prof. Dr. Jana Lasser on “Hierarchy and abuse of power: challenges in the scientific work environment” on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
Jana Lasser is professor for Data Analysis at the University of Graz, an alumna of the GGNB and Göttingen University and a founding member of the Network against Abuse of Power in Science (https://www.netzwerk-mawi.de/). The talk is held in English and is open to everyone. There will be a chance to ask questions afterwards.
The event will take place at 16:15-17:45h at the Ernst-Caspari Haus, Justus-von-Liebig-Weg 11, Seminar Room 0.232/0.233 (Nordcampus) and will also be streamed as a Zoom webinar. The venue is fully accessible.
