From Research to Sciencepreneurship

Get to know entrepreneurship as an alternative path to your academic career. Reflect on your own failure and learning journey and think about how to consolidate and develop your personal entrepreneurial skill set. Get to know the concept of entrepreneurship by breaking the entrepreneurial stereotype. Meet two role models who tell their stories of founding a startup and learn about startup support services in Germany. How much of an innovator is in you? Explore the step-by-step Design Thinking process in small teams. Based on practical examples and challenge, you learn how to empathise with users, as well as brainstorm and assess ideas to prepare for the rapid prototyping and testing finale. The workshop takes place on-site in Göttingen between 9 am and 5 pm. Participation is free and no prior knowledge is needed.
