DESCRIPTION:Leavitt path algebras\, which are algebras associated to \ndirected graphs\, were first introduced about 20 years ago. They have \nstrong connections to such topics as symbolic dynamics\, operator \nalgebras\, non-commutative geometry\, representation theory\, and even chip \nfiring.
